1. Black-and-white chequered hallway tiles
2. Fat rain plopping pale puddles on the driveway
3. Hot bowls of bakso
4. Purple clouds parting
5. Sweating over the frypan and onions sticky and sizzling
6. New ideas tripping over each other’s words
7. A tote bag battered and dusty and used
8. Black coffee at the white-tile bench
9. Squinting sunlight
10. Coming home to you.
